■ 23/07/08 - Don King Presents : Prizefighters Don King Presents Prizefighter has a steep learning curve that you need to really spend time with the controls. Prizefighter takes a slower paced approach than titles like Fight Night and is closer to a game like Victorious Boxers where depth is the key to the gameplay. I have mainly been playing exhibition fights and I have been getting my ass handed to me. Prizefighter is the kind of title where button mashing isn’t going to win you any fights. Button mash and you will be knocked out within seconds of the fight; I had that happen to me once alreadyTest de Don King Presents : Prizefighters sur Xbox 360, chez Next Level Gaming.
■ 08/07/08 - Don King Presents : Prizefighters You gotta love Don King. He’s a purely American invention – endlessly self-promoting, a crazy hairdo, and his own made up version of the English language. The guy is more American than George Washington. And no matter what you think of him, the wild popularity of boxing, especially during its golden age in the 70’s and 80’s is partly his doing. So it’s kind of disappointing to see such an entertaining character involved with such a non-entertaining game.

■ 02/07/08 - Don King Presents : Prizefighters Whenever things look bleak and I feel like I can't go on, I think of those immortal words of Rocky Balboa's trainer, Mickey: "Get up you son of a bitch, cos Mickey loves ya!" A small 1980's 'fixing-stuff up' style montage later and I'm ready to take on even the tallest of Russian boxers. So when Don King Presents: Prizefighter landed on my doorstep this week, I put on my grey sweats, grabbed me a pint of raw eggs and began working the body of a large frozen chicken (I know Rocky uses beef but that stuff is expensive!!)

■ 20/06/08 - Don King Presents : Prizefighters Legendary boxing promoter Don King has a long history of using invented words and flashy outfits to sell his products, so it's really no surprise that we had a strong first impression of his debut video game. But the more we played Don King Presents Prizefighter, the more that opinion was worn down by gameplay aspects that weren't quite as solid (or fresh) as expectedTest de Don King Presents : Prizefighters sur Xbox 360, chez Games Radar.

The man with the lighting streaked skull and Take-Two have joined forces to bring a brand new boxing game to the scene. Don King Presents: Prizefighter features over 30 well known brawlers, a plethora of unlockables, online gameplay, and an in-depth career mode. But does it stack up to the current heavyweight champion of the world or will EA's Fight Night Round 3 keep the belt?

■ 18/06/08 - Don King Presents : Prizefighters Don King, a boxing legend, lends his name to 2K Games' Prizefighter, the company's attempt to create a boxing game from the ground up. What hops in the ring is decent, with a solid control scheme and a selection of classic and new boxers. However, despite these few attempts to innovate, it just never delivers the knockout blow to win us over.
