■ 02/07/08 - MLB '08 : THE Show I consider myself a fair baseball fan. I'm a big fan of the Boston Red Sox, and I live in New York. The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox have the biggest rivalry in probably all of US sports history, and I'm going against the tide of my state. However, even if you are a Red Sox fan, you can't turn down a Yankee game, as it's one of the most exhilarating experiences. You go to a huge stadium in the most famous city in the world and you see the players you've seen on TV; the feeling of seeing everyone in the park yelling and screaming is hard to describe. ■ 10/05/08 - MLB 08 the Show When most people thing of baseball they think of America, of freedom; hotdogs, beer and nachos; family, fun and togetherness. Other people, including some of my friends and even my boss, find baseball unbelievably boring. I find myself stuck somewhere in the middle. I love playing baseball, I love going to the games, but what I can not stand is watching baseball on television. I find that part boring.

Cependant, il y a toujours des exceptions à la règle, comme c'est souvent le cas avec les divers jeux de sport qui refont surface chaque année sur nos consoles préférées. Malheureusement, MLB '08 : The Show n'y échappe pas. Vous pourriez lire notre ébauche de l'an dernier, vous dire que l'alignement des équipes fut mis à jour et vous auriez pratiquement une idée de ce qui vous attend dans cette nouvelle édition. En fait, les nouveautés sont tellement subtiles qu'il y a une option dans le menu principal nous expliquant en détails ce qui fut ajouté.....

■ 19/04/08 - MLB 08 : the Show I’ve never really enjoyed baseball. Not just in context to video games, but with any form of baseball experience whatsoever. My friends always attempt to get me excited when baseball season rolls around, and all I can do is shrug them off and pretend that I did not hear them.

■ 11/04/08 - MLB 08 the Show After an above average showing with MLB 07: The Show last year, SCE San Diego upped their game for the release of MLB 08: The Show on the PlayStation Portable. This time around they decided to take the positive from both the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game and throw them into one small portable format. The big question here is, did they strikeout while doing so or did they finally hit that round tripper. Even though the game is an upgrade from last year’s installment, we’ll rest pat with calling it a triple at best.

■ 02/04/08 - MLB 08 the Show Sony a rarement été reconnu pour ses jeux de sports. Si la palme revient la majorité du temps à EA, et quelques autres fois à Sega, on peut néanmoins apprécier les récents travaux de Sony au niveau de leur franchise de baseball. Cela fait près de quatre ans que je suis cette franchise de près et, année après année, les produits ne cessent de s’améliorer. ■ 19/03/08 - MLB 08 the Show Fans have come to know and love the handheld versions of Sony’s baseball games for the past couple of years now, so no one should be surprised to hear that the 2008 version is yet another gem. However, even we were surprised by how much more the developers were able to squeeze into a single UMD this time around.
