■ 09/10/08 - BAJA : Edge of Control Much like its name (it’s pronounced Bah-hah, if you didn’t know), we think Baja: Edge of Control is likely to be misunderstood… Off-road games, with the exception of a few notable rally titles, generally fall into the ‘over-the-top, “whoa dude” extreme sport’ mould, where realism takes a back seat to Test de Baja sur Playstation 3, chez Games Radar.
■ 02/10/08 - Baja : Edge of Control Baja: Edge of Control from 2XL Games is an ambitious off-road racer that, while not necessarily better than games that have come before it, does enough things well and introduces enough new features to make it a good addition to the genre. ■ 30/09/08 - Baja : Edge of Control When it comes to real-world off-road racing, the Baja 1000 is like the Indianapolis 500 and the LeMans 24-hour race all rolled up into one exhausting event. Designed to leave you tired beyond measure, every year thousands of people (ironically) drive down to Baja, California to then drive a thousand miles in a VW bug, trophy truck, buggy or bike. The course itself is full of bumps, hills, desert and jumps which usually take a heavy toll on each driver. Unfortunately, playing this title will take a similar toll on gamers as 2XL, the team behind the MX vs ATV series, has developed the game around a niche market which won’t appeal to the majority of racing fans.

With "tracks" filled with hazards and constantly shifting road conditions, you have to be a complete maniac to get behind the wheel of any vehicle and expect to make it to the finish line intact, let alone the monstrous road-titans that make up a trophy truck league. Baja: Edge of Control captures this experience remarkably accuratelyTest de Baja sur Playstation 3, chez GameSpy.
