The franchise started out as a platforming game with an extra taste of action then what is normally found in a platforming title.
■ 29/11/07 - Ratchet and Clank Future : Tools of Destruction Il faut malheureusement l'avouer, la Playstation 3, depuis sa sortie française en mars de cette année, ne bénéficie pas d'une ludothèque des plus homogènes, souffrant plus particulièrement d'un manque de jeux d'aventure/plate-formes. C'est donc avec une impatience non dissimulée que les joueurs ont pu prendre en main le tout nouvel épisode des aventures du plus célèbre lambix de tous les temps, j'ai nommé Ratchet, et de son acolyte en féraille, Clank. Le tandem de choc répond une nouvelle fois présent pour sauver le monde des méchants dans une épopée exclusive à la firme de Sony dans cet opus intitulé "Ratchet et Clank : Opération Destruction" et signée Insomniac Games....

■ 10/11/07 - Ratchet and Clank Future : Tools of Destruction I can’t help but think that if Insomniac had released Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction last year when the PS3 launched that the system would now be as hard to find in stores as the Nintendo Wii. Instead, they chose to release Resistance, a fairly unoriginal FPS title that, while good, doesn’t even come close to the magnificence that we see in their latest release.

Thankfully, we wield the powers of a very sly Lombax, Ratchet, and his robot assistant, Clank.
