■ 06/02/08 - The Simpsons Game The Simpsons hit the local theater in a triumphant fashion. EA has been adamant that in celebration of their Hollywood debut, fans would finally see a game worthy of America’s favorite televised family. Shockingly, they’ve proved true to their word—mostly. Although Simpsons Hit n’ Run was fun, almost every other game bearing the license (short of the four-player coin-op classic) has been all shades of bad. The Simpsons Game, on the other hand, is surprisingly good.
■ 14/11/07 - Simpsons Game Metal Gear Solid, Madden Football, Lord of the Rings, The Sims, Christianity, Mario, Sonic, Grand Theft Auto, and the videogame industry as a whole are just a few of the things that are parodied in The Simpsons Game, where players assume the roles of all four members of the cartoon family that has been invading televisions since 1989.
