■ 05/04/08 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Resting right at the top of a dreadfully large pile of games I’ve meant to play is the original Lost Planet for the Xbox 360. One of those woulda, coulda, shoulda titles that just never made it into my rotation, it still waits for me in its original shrink wrap. When its counterpart on the PS3 showed up a year later on my doorstep for review, I couldn’t have been happier. Now, there were no excuses.
■ 03/11/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Lost Planet: Extreme Condition casts you as the dubiously named Wayne, set adrift on the blizzard-wracked ice planet of EDN III. Wayne, in the time-honoured manner of all game heroes, takes things Very Seriously Indeed, and wants to exact revenge upon the monstrously huge Green Eye, a kind of gigantic turtle-thing that killed his Dad.
■ 23/10/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Having played this title on the Xbox 360 some months ago, one can’t help but compare and by compare one means, be console biased, but here goes. Just for you guys I am strapping on my PC boots…

■ 07/09/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition The game takes place on E.D.N III, a perpetually snowy and cold planet. At some point, humanity had attempted to settle on the frozen landscape, but an alien species known only as the Akrid had prevented their efforts. The Akrid run on an energy source known as T. Eng. (thermal energy), and it’s this T. Eng that powers the mech suits used by humans in their counter-Akrid efforts.
■ 23/08/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Several months ago there were gift cards burning holes in my pockets, so I used them to buy an Xbox 360. One of the first three games I bought — and the first one I actually played — was Capcom’s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition. And now, after having played the PC version, I see why console ports are generally reviled in the PC gaming community. Console-centric design, an incomplete instruction manual and numerous bugs make this a game that only a forgiving PC gamer can love.
■ 09/08/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition In Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, players assume the roll of Wayne Holden -- an amnesiac on an alien planet who survives a big battle against bug-like aliens called Akrid. In a lost-in-translation storyline, Wayne can only remember his dad getting killed by a monstrous bug alien called "green eye," and sets out for revenge.
■ 06/08/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Lost Planet is a sci-fi action shooter set within the merciless frozen tundra of a hostile planet, humans struggle for survival as conflicts arise between man, the surrounding indigenous creatures and the monstrous beings that have invaded. The PC version will feature optimized gfx, DirectX9/10 support, better multiplayer lobby, etc.
■ 03/08/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on the Xbox 360 was one of the first great games of 2007, offering some intense action, gorgeous graphics and fantastic multiplayer matches. Now, the game is seeing its way onto the PC, taking advantage of Vista’s DirectX 10 platform while still giving XP gamers (and those without a top-of-the-line video card) the option to play a slightly scaled-down DirectX 9 version.
■ 18/07/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition When it comes to dramatics in video games, you could say with some certainty that there is no nation more adept at delivering than the Japanese. Hence, a great number of Western gamers become infatuated with the whole culture surrounding the Far-Eastern releases.
■ 11/07/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition Fighting giant creatures with oversized weapons is an idea frequently revisited within the science-fiction community. Just look at a large part of popular anime, Starship Troopers, Aliens - there are myriad examples.
■ 07/07/07 - Lost Planet A number of console games from Capcom have made their way to the PC in the past few months. Big-name titles like Devil May Cry 3 and Resident Evil 4 have made the journey more or less intact, and the same can now be said for Lost Planet, a third-person action game that debuted earlier this year on the Xbox 360.
■ 05/07/07 - Lost Planet : Extreme Condition All the way back to my childhood, the name Capcom has always been associated in my mind with good games. Games like MegaMan and Bionic Commando I still play to this day. Resident Evil, Street Fighter, these are franchises from Capcom that just keep going and going.
