■ 08/02/08 - Stranglehold Based off John Woo’s Hard Boiled film, Stranglehold stars Hong Kong police inspector Tequila in the lead gun totting role. Soon enough you come to find a less than orthodox approach to keeping the peace as practically everything you do will involve bullets zipping through bad guys, or some poor vase that got in the way.
■ 04/02/08 - Stranglehold When “Dirty” Harry Callahan points his .44 Magnum at a downed perp and asks him if he feels lucky, when John McClane taunts German terrorist Hans Gruber with a colorful version of an old cowboy saying and when John Rambo informs the officer who betrayed him that he’s his next objective, first-person shooter fans dream of getting the chance to stand in their heroes’ blood-soaked boots.

Seulement, s'il aborde en effet un gameplay in-té-gra-le-ment porté vers l'action, ainsi qu'une atmosphère caricaturée à l'extrême et une réalisation tape à l'œil -mais pas trop- ce Hard Boiled vidéoludique n'a strictement rien d'une bouse, aussi impressionnant que ça soit.
