■ 26/02/08 - The Witcher Ainsi nous est succinctement présenté le héros du jeu, alors que la cinématique d'introduction commence, et que ce dernier se prépare au combat. Cheveux blanc, yeux de chats, visage balafré, barbe naissante, Geralt dégage un très fort charisme, chose que l'on pourrait qualifier de normale si The Wicher était un jeu de rôle japonais. Or ce n'est pas le cas, car le premier jeu issu de CDProjekt RED est polonais, et donc d'obédience occidentale. Ce sera donc ce witcher, ou sorceleur en français, que le joueur incarnera dans ce RPG PC de qualité, et qui était attendu comme le messie, non sans raisons, par toute une frange de la communauté pécéiste. En effet, avant la sortie de The Witcher en fin d'année dernière (2007), le dernier RPG sur PC ayant utilisé un gameplay à la souris et arborant un univers ouvertement adulte datait de 1998, et s'intitulait Fallout 2 !...

Après les coups d’éclat des Allemands de Crytek et de Pyranha Bytes, et des Ukrainiens de GSC Game World, voici que le studio polonais CDProjekt nous gratifie du RPG le plus rafraîchissant de ces dernières années. A l’opposé de la démarche libertaire d’un Oblivion, The Witcher est une aventure scénarisée dans l’univers réaliste et adulte de l’écrivain Andrzej Sapkowski. Un retour aux sources couplé d’un vent nouveau sur le genre.....

The Witcher est le jeu qu'il faut avoir, en plus de cela je n'aime pas les RPG mais là je suis vraiment agréablement surpris, je me suis laissé tenter et je le regrette pas. Cela faisait vraiment longtemps qu'un jeu n'avait pas autant apporté cette "magie" chez le joueur, chaque fois que je lance la partie je suis tout excité à l'idée d'entrer dans ce monde à la fois enchanteur, réaliste et cruel.... ■ 27/11/07 - The Witcher Passons le ridicule de la VF qui voudrait faire passer le très classe chasseur de monstre qu’est le Witcher pour un pauvre "Sorceleur". Les Witchers, des êtres humains formés pour le combat, perdant au cours de leur transformation en machines de guerre jusqu’à la moindre once de leur humanité. Ce qui n’est pas le cas de Geralt De Rivia, THE Witcher, lui qui est le personnage principal des écrits de Andrzej Sapkowski, romancier fantastique polonais inventeur de l’univers dépeint dans le jeu de CDProjekt.....
