■ 26/04/06 - Advance Wars Nintendo fans aren’t typically the type who enjoy deep, engrossing military strategy games, but that hasn’t stopped Advance Wars from becoming one Nintendo’s most popular handheld franchises. On the DS, the dual screens and stylus come together to make Advance Wars: Dual Strike the best Advance Wars yet, though grizzled veterans may find this latest conflict to be a bit too familiar.
■ 18/10/05 - Advance Wars DS Be clear, I’m a huge Advance Wars fan. It is easily the best handheld strategy series I’ve ever played, and my excitement for this new dual screen version couldn’t have been higher. In fact, I consider this to be the first must-have title for the system (with all due respect to Meteos and Kirby: Canvas Curse – both amazing games in their own right).
