■ 25/09/08 - Final Fantasy 4 What was old has been made anew. Final Fantasy IV, perhaps the most cherished game of my childhood, now feels as fresh as anything else in modern gaming. It's easy to mock Square Enix for releasing its old games so many times, but with the DS remake of FFIV, they've actually made a new version that is vastly superior to the original and worth playing all over again no matter how familiar you are with this epic tale. For newcomers to the series, this is an excellent point of entry that showcases traditional Japanese RPG gameplay with one of the best stories ever told in the genre.

■ 18/09/08 - Final Fantasy 4 Carrying on the now honoured tradition of remaking every Final Fantasy game at least once, Square-Enix is getting ready to release the first 3D version of the SNES classic Final Fantasy IV (or Final Fantasy II if you still haven't recovered from the SNES era). Coming just over a year after the excellent DS remake of Final Fantasy III, the game is being developed by the same company, Matrix Software. This is a good thing, as it means that the same highly polished gameplay and design of last year's game will be present here, hopefully improving what is already a fantastic game.

■ 16/09/08 - Final Fantasy 4 The Final Fantasy series polarises gamers like no other. Believers defend its shortcomings, idiosyncrasies and cynical spin-offs with blind fury while detractors are only too eager to dismiss the entire mythology off-hand. Final Fantasy, as an idea, can do no wrong to those blinded by fond Test de Final Fantasy 4 sur Nindendo DS, chez EuroGamer.

■ 13/08/08 - Final Fantasy 4 Every RPG fan should play Final Fantasy IV at least once. Seventeen years after its release, the game is still a brilliant example of solid storyline, Test de Final Fantasy 4 sur Nindendo DS, chez GameSpy.
■ 29/07/08 - Final Fantasy 4 Final Fantasy IV has always been one of my favorite games. I recall playing it on the SNES, when it was called Final Fantasy II and featured a rather goofy translation, Nintendo-inspired censorship and a dumbed-down difficulty level from the Japanese version. At the time, I didn't care about any of that and simply found myself engrossed in a really fun game. If there is one title to blame for my love of RPGs, it would Test de Final Fantasy 4 sur Nindendo DS, chez WorthPlaying.
