■ 01/10/08 - NCAA Football 09 Demo’s for football games are always an interesting endeavor to go into. Obviously the core of the game is not going to be available but at least you can see what sort of differences there are in terms of gameplay from the last year’s iteration. One of the first things that struck me from the demo was the Coke Zero ad placements both on the main menu as well as the coin toss. To me its awesome, its nicely packaged in a way that just makes it feel part of the game.

■ 06/08/08 - NCAA Football 09 Constantly reinventing the wheel is an arduous task. Just ask those cavemen that came right after that first innovator. Okay, so you can’t actually ask a caveperson this question, but you know what we mean about constantly innovating, constantly resetting the bar.

■ 05/08/08 - NCAA Football 09 There's something absolutely magical about college football season. Every Saturday afternoon during the fall months, dorms empty, alumni load into their cars, and the marching band struts its stuff to bring the whole campus together in a celebration of one of America's most beloved sports. While great professional football teams can pull in 60,000 to 80,000 fans on a given week, the elite teams of college football routinely seat over 100,000 partisans, making the big rivalry game an event that every fan should experience at least once in his or her life. This year, NCAA Football 09 is more about the emotion and pageantry than ever, and the result is one terrific game.

■ 26/07/08 - NCAA Football 09 Unlike any review previously done here on PlayStation Universe, I feel that this review will need to be divided into several parts. The first part will handle the bulk of the title including Dynasty mode, Campus Legend mode, gameplay elements and mini-games. However, the second part of the review will focus completely on the human vs. human aspect by covering the various gameplay elements tackled in this style of play. I understand this may seem odd, but NCAA Football 2009 plays like two completely different titles depending on the situation.

■ 23/07/08 - NCAA Football 09 Like that slacker college roommate of yours who took a few semesters off to “find himself”, NCAA football has taken a bit of a break the last two years on the PSP. It returns this season none the worse for wear, sporting a slightly different attitude but a remarkably similar look and feel to the collegiate gridiron games you’ve been playing for years now.

■ 17/07/08 - NCAA Football 09 Consistently successful college football coaches win for a reason. Coming off championship seasons, they don’t mess too much with winning formulas. A few tweaks to the playbook here, some new paint on the weight room walls there, and voila! it’s time for another year demanding blood, sweat, and tears from skinny freshman, grizzled seniors, and everyone else in between.
