■ 08/02/08 - Rogue Trooper Fighting to save the planet you live in is such a heroic act from soldiers who put their own lives on the line. This heroism however can be fatal when betrayal comes into play. This is so for normal soldiers, I never knew this can happen even to genetically engineered super soldiers. Betrayal by the very person who brought them in the battlefield killed Rogue’s comrades.
■ 11/10/06 - Rogue Trooper I was unaware at the time of reviewing, but Rogue Trooper is based off the popular UK comic with the matching name. Comic book heroes turned electronic game characters have not had a great track record. Titles such as Spawn and the Dreamcast game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have all made gamers think twice before purchasing comic book games. Not even the X-Men franchise is safe from horrendous video game adaptations. Certainly, this is not the case with Rogue Trooper due to Developers Rebellion and Eidos teaming up to give justice to the popular UK comic.
■ 03/10/06 - Rogue Trooper À moins d’être un fan inconditionnel de bandes dessinées, les chances que vous ayez entendu parler de 2000 AD sont minces. Pour la suite de cette critique, l’important est de savoir qu’il s’agit d’une BD britannique qui a récemment été achetée par Rebellion. Ses personnages les plus connus sont Judge Dredd, qui a d’ailleurs été incarné par Sylvester Stallone au cinéma, et Rogue Trooper. Puisque Rebellion développe aussi des jeux vidéo, il n’est pas surprenant que les deux franchises se retrouvent maintenant sur ce format. ■ 21/06/06 - Rogue Trooper Ok, let’s get this out of the way early; Rogue Trooper is one of the best action-shooters I have played since Advent Rising and Pariah, and when it comes to single-player action, the gameplay blows both of the Halo games out of the water. So now that I’ve pissed off all the hardcore Halo lovers out there, allow me to explain these bold claims.

■ 10/06/06 - Rogue Trooper Action games tend to get stale rather quickly. Especially now, when third-person explode-a-thons rule the marketplace. Developers need to come up with ways to set them apart. That, or go the traditional route and just do it better than anyone else does.
■ 10/06/06 - Rogue Trooper Carving out a place among the glut of third-person shooting games can be a tough task, as the well-intentioned but entirely average Rogue Trooper proves. A combination of straight-forward shooting, stale sci-fi nonsense, and some clever use of gadgets and gear, Rogue Trooper manages to provide a few hours of gaming goodness despite some mediocre ingredients.
