■ 08/02/08 - Vietcong 2 War shooting games have always been a popular type with gamers everywhere, and after supplying consumers with loads of World War 2 games, developers began switching things up and coming out with games based on the Vietnam War, but results were not what they had hoped. Pterodon and Illusion Soft words decided to bring about a more authentic jungle style of warfare in Vietcong, where players had real, authentic warfare to deal with.
■ 12/07/06 - Vietcong 2 The Vietnam War, perhaps one of the most infamous and controversial “wars” in our nation’s history, aside from the one going on right now in Iraq, is the source material for a lot of books, movies, and more recently video games. There were at least four major titles released in 2004 dealing with the subject matter.
■ 25/04/06 - Vietcong 2 While Vietnam doesn’t exactly inspire noble or good-natured thoughts in the minds of most, it is a war and since it’s not World War II, it’s apparently a good target for a first-person shooter or three. Vietcong was one of the first, and while it was an interesting game, it suffered from some problems.
