■ 15/04/09 - Resistance: Retribution The team at Sony Bend is back with another PSP game to try once more to prove that shooters can be done well on the PSP, this time with a faster-paced game in the Resistance series. Resistance: Retribution attempts to link Resistance: Fall of Man and Resistance 2 with a new hero, a new gameplay style, and a smaller screen. ■ 23/03/09 - Resistance Retribution Alors que je viens à peine de quitter notre cher Nathan Hale dans Resistance : Fall of Man, après un épilogue plutôt mystérieux, voilà que je me décidais à retourner ma veste en jetant finalement mon dévolu sur Resistance Retribution PSP, épisode annexe ou l’action semble de situer entre les 2 opus PS3, histoire de souffler un petit peu avant de me lancer dans Resistance 2 qui lui se présente comme la suite directe de Fall of Man.

■ 19/03/09 - Resistance : Retribution Developed at Sony Bend, Resistance: Retribution is the first title in the well-received Resistance franchise to appear on the PSP. A third-person action game, Retribution presents a side story to the events in the PS3 series, complete with a new protagonist and new areas in the campaign. Even though the game is pretty different from the PS3 iterations, it still does a great job of retaining the action and intensity of the original games, and even manages to nail the control scheme, making it one of the best playing action games ever to hit the PSP.

■ 18/03/09 - Resistance : Retribution Retribution does the best it can with the PSP’s single analog stick. It maps aiming to the face buttons and indulges you with a generous amount of aim assist – but it still feels far from an ideal solution. It’s a shame really, because in every other respect this is classic Resistance: epic, explosive, and fast-paced.

■ 16/03/09 - Resistance : Retribution The PSP is in a curious situation. Perhaps a victim of its own multi-functional design, the handheld has clocked up impressive sales in the face of daunting competition from the DS, yet in 2008 it seemed like the games were drying up. "Make more games!" said Sony to its third-party developers, before sheepishly muttering, "Oh, and maybe we should do the same."
