■ 20/02/08 - NCAA Football 08 Well, the summer is over. I was kind of enjoying riding my bike around campus with nobody around. But August always comes and the football players with it. Don’t get me wrong. I’m always up for a good tailgate party and competitive college football game. Actually, as with most sports, I find the college game to be much more entertaining than the pros… at least in real life.
■ 06/02/08 - NCAA Football 08 Last year’s NCAA 07 title may have been the best college football game in a few years, but it still lacked that one key component to make it the truly best college experience around. While NCAA 08 expands the gameplay to offer deeper and richer customization options, the lack of any notable changes for the on-screen options or presentation make this addition feel almost similar to last year’s version, which is fitting on both ends of the football spectrum.

■ 04/10/07 - NCAA Football 08 It can be argued that there are a few ways college football is better than the NFL. For one thing, players are fighting not for a paycheck, but for school spirit and pride, which inspires them to win every game.

■ 24/08/07 - NCAA Football 08 As the first game in EA’s hugely popular collegiate pigskin series to be on a next-gen console, NCAA Football 07 was received much more positively than the first Madden game to land on the Xbox 360. This was largely due to the fact that the game had an extra year of development time than the pro game, which helped it avoid many of the pitfalls that hurt the bigger title, namely the lack of game modes.
