■ 08/02/08 - The Sims 2 : Pets There are not many people left in the known universe who have not already played a version of Sims on one platform or other. This juggernaut of all simulation games has left its mark on both the games industry and the people who have played it. Those wonderfully babble mouth human creations with whom we build such affection and frustration have at one time or another demand the majority of our leisure time; just so we could try and pull them up the food chain by their proverbial boot straps.
■ 23/10/07 - The Sims 2 : Pets EA boasts that The Sims 2 is the best-selling PC title of all time, and, as the publishing giant continues in its efforts to conquer next-gen consoles it’s seen fit to release The Sims 2: Pets. As the name suggests, in this new title your Sims can have pets. These come in the form of various cats and dogs and gerbils. These creatures have individual personalities and, much like your Sims, they have wants and needs that must be satisfied. A huge aspect of this title is that you have to teach, train, discipline, and praise your pets. If it sounds like a lot of work—that’s because it is. Of course, that’s not to say that it’s not good fun too, but it just takes a lot of time and patience to get that perfect cat or dog.
■ 18/08/07 - The Sims 2 : Pets The first Sims game was released on February 4, 2000 for the PC. Since then Sims has gone on to become the biggest selling PC game of all time. Several Expansion packs and even a new Sims 2 with its own expansion packs later and the Sims is still going strong. Each year the Sims comes out with new objects and activities for your Sims to enjoy. Now you can do pretty much everything you can think of and more!
