■ 20/02/08 - Jeanne d'Arc Sony Computer Entertainment has been making or publishing some of the best games to hit their PlayStation line of handhelds and consoles for years. Among these games are some of my personal favorites including Alundra, Ico, and Legend of Legaia to name a few. Every game that SCEI has put out has been nothing but gold to me.
■ 06/02/08 - Jeanne d\'Arc Level 5 has made quite a name for themselves in the past few years for making great RPGs that may rival the monstrous catalog belonging to RPG juggernaut Square Enix. The latest RPG attempt is Jeanne D’Arc for the PSP, which is a strategy RPG for PSP that loosely follows the story of the legendary French heroine Joan of Arc. Taking inspiration from some of the great strategy RPGs, like Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, is Jeanne D’Arc another notch in the great Level 5 catalog or should they be burned at the stake for challenging the greats?
■ 01/12/07 - Jeanne D'Arc I’m an unabashed fan of developer Level 5 (Rogue Galaxy) and Jeanne d’Arc is proof yet again that this studio can succeed at whatever it puts its mind to. Leave it to them to put their own spin on The Hundred Years War that includes monsters (apart from the English) and a fat frog – and that’s not a derogatory comment on the French. There literally is a talking frog in the game.
■ 16/11/07 - Jeanne d'Arc Every child knows the story of Joan of Arc, the girl who was chosen by an armband that ended up being somewhat of an antenna to God. They know how she led an army of talking lions and a wolf that speaks like Scooby-Doo and rained fireballs on some English soldiers led by a crazy guy with multiple lives as she fought to end the English occupation.
■ 08/11/07 - Jeanne d'Arc Ever wonder what it would have been like to balk authority in medieval France, and lead a religious revolution? Well, now you have the opportunity in the new tactical RPG from same great developers who brought us Dark Cloud. Jeanne d’Arc places players in control of the legendary battle maid, as she leads her friends and followers against orcs, gnolls, monsters, and English oppression.
■ 09/10/07 - Jeanne d'Arc Traditional strategy RPG games were epitomized by the original Final Fantasy Tactics – it’s become my own personal bar for comparing against new games in the genre. Not every strategy game is totally comparable, but when a game comes along that can be, it has a lot to accomplish before it can be considered a worthy play.
■ 29/09/07 - Jeanne d'Arc Jeanne d’Arc – Joan of Arc in the devil’s tongue – is the newest release from Level-5, the studio behind the recent PlayStation 2 role-playing epic Rogue Galaxy and nostalgia-laced Dragon Quest VIII. Level-5’s first foray onto the PlayStation Portable isn’t quite what they are known for, though: Jeanne d’Arc is a turn-based strategy game.

■ 04/09/07 - Jeanne d'Arc Imagine an empty chessboard. Now, populate the board with 3-dimensional medieval architecture (think cathedrals and fortress walls), infuse the game pieces with distinctive personalities and motivations, and steep the whole concoction in rich historical context, with a twist of the fantastical thrown in – that should give you an idea of how complex and amazing the strategy RPG Jeanne d’Arc is.
