■ 08/02/08 - Highland Warriors Highland Warriors is the new historical game from Data Becker that tries to be different. Set in Scotland at a time when the English were trying to rule, the game follows the fortunes of either one of three clans (rebels?) or the English occupiers. Although being fairly accurate, history wise, there is no feeling of “being taught” too much, it is just pleasant to see historical events reflected within the game.

C’était probablement un mardi, le jeu s’appelait Dune II et je ne comprenais pas le rapport qu’il avait avec Dune. Des années plus tard et des dizaines de STR plus tard, je dois tester Highland Warriors, un jeu qui vient s’ajouter silencieusement à cette liste de jeux où on accumule des matières premières pour se monter une armée avant d’aller botter les fesses de son ennemi.
