■ 12/04/09 - Hail to the Chimp Developed by Wideload Games, Hail to the Chimp is a party game full of satire that could fill up a feature film by Mel Brooks (Young Frankenstein). ■ 30/07/08 - Hail to the Chimp Campaign promises are a dime a dozen, yet rarely are they fulfilled. As such, it comes with little surprises that Hail to the Chimp fails to hail its own pre-release promise of spectacular multiplayer action.

■ 29/07/08 - Hail to the Chimp US, July 1, 2008 - The lion (apparently the only one) has gone missing, and the animal kingdom is without a leader. What's a group of furry creatures to do? ■ 24/07/08 - Hail to the Chimp For some, the Washington political scene can be as wild as the Amazon. Conniving snakes slither through the grass, looking to sidle up with equally loathsome lobbyists. Blowhard senator swine curry favor among their constituency while wallowing in the mud with the special interests, and when poor, defenseless votes are spotted in the great, wide open – all manner of predators crawl forth, attacking their opponents from the shadows (or in pack formation) in a bid to rip their teeth into every last dangling chad and claim the carrion for themselves. Yup, the world of politics is a jungle – a fact that the developers at Wideload Games hopes to exploit in their election year release, Hail to the Chimp.

■ 08/07/08 - Hail to the Chimp It wasn't that long ago that the developers at Wideload Games made a name for themselves by injecting a warped sense of humor into the FPS genre in the cult Xbox classic, Stubbs the Zombie. Now, the Wideload crew is using that same offbeat sense of humor and bringing a new meaning to the term "political party" with Hail to the Chimp, a highly competitive party game that's got its tongue planted firmly in cheek.

■ 02/07/08 - Hail to the Chimp Did you ever order lobster bisque in a fancy restaurant and then have bubble gum-flavored ice cream with gummi bears on top for dessert? Of course not; it's a mismatch. Hail to the Chimp seems to be making the same attempt to merge two worlds, combining kiddie-style, action-packed minigames with a plot and setting that spoofs the electoral process in a way only adults have a chance of appreciating.

■ 23/06/08 - Hail to the Chimp There is no political race more exciting, more heated or more publicly scrutinized than the contest to see who will be the next leader of the free world. For the Animal Kingdom, this is doubly so. Unlike us "civilized" humans, who take things no further than the occasional smear campaign, primitive Animal candidates willingly back up their words with actions as they beat the tar out of one another on the political battlefield. At least, that's the way the process works in Wideload Games' Hail to the Chimp, published by Gamecock Media Group and coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 consoles on June 24.Test de Hail to the Chimp sur Playstation 3, chez Games Channel.
