■ 02/01/07 - Hack//G.U. Rebirth The Dot.hack games, a series of four closely linked RPGs telling one long story, came out a few years ago on the PS2. Though critics generally gave the games favorable reviews, one thing left a sour taste in many mouths: it was basically one game split up into four discs.
■ 09/12/06 - Hack//G.U. Rebirth When Bandai finished up the first .hack quartet, the general consensus agreed on a couple of points. One, they were pretty good dungeon-crawling adventures, and their multi-layered meta-game concept was a neat idea. Two, they were probably not more than $150 worth of game.

What is reality? .hack, a sci-fi fantasy RPG, has pursued this innovative concept in the previous 4-part series where “The World” was ultimately destroyed. Years after the events of the first .hack series, “The World” was rebuilt.
■ 27/10/06 - Hack//G.U. Rebirth Fans of the original .hack series and anime have another reason to dust off their virtual desktops with .hack//G.U. Vol. 1//Rebirth scheduled to release early next week. With a story intertwiend with .hack//Roots - a new anime series that debuts on Cartoon Network in November - the game takes place in the not-so-distant future, where a fantasy online role-playing game called The World has become a cultural phenomenon.
