■ 15/12/08 - Blitz : the League 2 Back in 2001, wrestling icon Vince McMahon opened the XFL which was supposed to be the ultimate complement to the NFL. With slightly different rules, cool player and team nicknames, and way more cheerleader shots, the XFL was viewed as the outlaw football league to the NFL’s established product. Unfortunately, the XFL failed to sway enough mainstream football fans and folded after just one season.

■ 03/12/08 - Blitz the League 2 Taking away the NFL license from companies that aren’t named EA to me left the door open for creative football games. Now a lot of you may disagree with me but I have always been up for a story based football experience. We have seen movies like Remember the Titans, Rudy, and The Express all as engaging as watching an NFL game, but with a deeper meaning to each play. Today’s game, Blitz: The League II won’t ever be mentioned by any of those movies again, but at the very least it tries to mix up story and gameplay. Does it work? Read our full review to find out.

■ 28/11/08 - Blitz the League 2 What do you get when you take American football and throw out all the rules? Blitz The League II of course, the hardest hitting, most Arcade sports (and I use that term loosely) game on the planet. This is the sequel to the very popular original Blitz The League, which was released in 2005 for the Xbox and PlaySstation 2 and later re-released for the Xbox 360 and PSP in 2006. This year’s Blitz offers a bunch of new and fun features while keeping the original gameplay mechanics intactTest de Blitz the League 2 sur Xbox 360, chez Game Chronicles Magazine.

■ 04/11/08 - Blitz the League 2 Blitz the League II is a better football game than the original. Yet, better doesn't mean best as the graphics are still muddy, the story mode isn't up to par and the mature themes are too much for casual football fans. Nevertheless, this is down and dirty football that hits hard. Thanks to a variety of new plays and late hits makes it even more enjoyable. ■ 20/10/08 - Blitz : the League 2 What makes a football title great? Some may think that realistic tackles, precision passing and great visuals are the keys to a successful franchise. Midway on the other hand prefers a more intense direction to the sport of football. Blitz: The League II demonstrates how steroid usage, sleazy agents and prima-donna players can make a football game exciting yet still lose all appeal when it comes down to what matters most, the gameplay.
